About the Authors

Robert Martin, BA, LLB, LLM, is professor of law at the University of Western Ontario where he teaches constitutional law and media law. He is also secretary-treasurer of the Commonwealth Association for Education in Journalism and Communication. Professor Martin has taught extensively in Africa where he has held appointments in law at the National University of Lesotho, the University of Mauritius, the University of Dar es Salaam, and the University of Nairobi.
