Marilyn Herie

Dr. Marilyn Herie, PhD, RSW is the Academic Chair, Department of Community Services, School of Community and Health Studies at Centennial College. She holds a cross-appointment as Assistant Professor (Status Only), University of Toronto Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. She is a member of the international Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and has over 15 years of clinical practice and supervision in addictions/concurrent disorders treatment with individuals and groups. Tim Godden

Joanne Shenfeld received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto in 1986. She has been with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) for 20 years. Joanne has extensive clinical experience working in addictions with individuals, couples, families and groups. She has been involved in research and program development, as well as training and education through CAMH. Currently, Joanne is the Manager for the Family Service in the Addiction Program and Youth Addiction and Concurrent Disorders Service in the Child, Youth and Family Program. Recent projects include a treatment manual on family support and addiction, chapters on youth and family interventions and a study and treatment manual on brief couples therapy. Joanne is a Registered Social Worker with OCSWSSW; an Adjunct Lecturer Factor – Inwentash, Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto; and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
