Sarah Silberstein Swartz, daughter of Jewish-Polish Holocaust survivors, was born in post-war Berlin, Germany. She is a writer and award-winning editor, specializing in women's studies and Holocaust literature. Research Associate at the Hadassah-Brandeis Institute at Brandeis University, she lives in Boston with her wife and cat, near her three grandsons.
Margie Wolfe is the publisher and co-founder of Second Story Press in Toronto. Books from Second Story’s Holocaust Remembrance Series for Young Readers have been translated into more than forty languages world-wide. Margie has been recognized for her work by a number of organizations. She was born in a displaced person’s camp in Germany. Toby is her mother.
