Anne Alexandra Fortin

Anne Alexandra was born and raised in the beautiful province of Quebec, where she nourished a passion for hiking and travelling. She travelled through Canada, the United States, Central America, southeast Asia, and the Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia, exploring mountains, jungles, pampas, glaciers, volcanoes, tundra, and more. These experiences inspired her to complete an Adventure Tourism Program in Gaspé, Québec. She became a professional outdoor guide and has worked from the southernmost tip of the Americas to Canada. Since 2009, she has been hiking and discovering the hidden gems of Newfoundland and Labrador’s backcountry. With this book, she hopes to share the uniqueness of western and central Newfoundland with a wide audience.
