Maddie jumps at the chance to audition for a commercial with the stars of her favourite TV show - Justin and Adam. There is lots of competition -- including her classmate Clementine. Maddie is over the moon when she finds out she has been picked. She puts everything she can into it, with Gran's help, but she is in for some very unpleasant surprises.

About the Authors

Leblanc, Louise

LOUISE LEBLANC is an award-winning novelist and children\s writer. A native of Montreal she worked as a teacher a model an actress and a dancer before establishing her full-time writing career in 1985. Her Maddie books have appeared in French English Spanish and Danish editions.'

Marie-Louise Gay has come a long way since she failed art class in the third grade. The author and/or illustrator of over sixty books for children, she has captured the imaginations of children and their parents with her whimsical cartoons and beloved characters like Stella and Sam, Caramba and Henry, and Princess Pistachio. In 2013 Marie-Louise was award the Claude Aubry Award, which is presented by IBBY Canada for distinguished service within the field of children's literature.
