Jennifer Lloyd is the author of several books, including Ella’s Umbrellas, The Best Thing about Kindergarten and the Murilla Gorilla series. When she is not writing, Jennifer happily teaches kindergarten. She loves story time with her students and passing on the joy of beginning writing. Unfortunately, her daytime active imagination can lead to scary nighttime nightmares. She sympathizes with the children in this book, wishing for her very own Dream Rescuer! Jennifer lives with her husband and children in Lorraine, Quebec.

Jacqui Lee graduated from the Alberta College of Art & Design. She started her freelance illustration career in Vancouver, and branched in children's book illustration with the Murilla Gorilla series (written by Jennifer Lloyd, published by Simply Read). Jacqui is currently (temporarily) living in London, UK.
