SPAN lang=EN>SPAN lang=EN>This module focus on understanding measurement as a process of comparing: by ordering objects; identifying attributes that can be compared; and showing comparisons by filling, covering, or matching. Emphasis is also placed on describing the characteristics of 3-D objects and 2-D shapes, and sorting, comparing, and replicating these shapes and objects.

All modules include a list of children's books and websites related to the mathematics topics introduced, a detailed introduction to the Hands-On Mathematics program (guiding principles, implementation guidelines, an overview of the skills that students use and develop during mathematics inquiry), and a classroom assessment plan and record-keeping templates.
