Hello toes, our tootsie friends
Hello, summer feet again!
Canada's Dr. Seuss, Sheree Fitch, is back with a brand-new tongue-twisting picture book that celebrates all things summer. From those first barefoot days, wobble-dy walking over rocks and pebbles, to wandering-wild while searching for sea glass and, finally, huddled-up cozy at a late-summer bonfire, these summer feet flutter kick, somersault, hide-and-seek, and dance in the rain, soaking up all the season has to offer.
With Fitch's classic lip-slippery, lyrical rhymes and Carolyn Fisher's bright and colourful illustrations, Summer Feet will be an instant summertime favourite.

"Sheree Fitch, an award-winning poet, gives us a paean to summer's barefoot adventures that plays with words and captures the excitement of children released not only from the confines of home and school, but also from the need to wear shoes and socks.... A fun summer read for all ages." —Ottawa Citizen (Ottawa, ON)
"To say that Sheree Fitch has a way with words and sound is to say the sun shines." —Canadian Children's Book News (Toronto, ON)
"Summer Feet will have you wiggling your naked feet to the delightful tongue-twisting lip-slippery rhymes of one of Canada's favourite writers. You'll want to sink your feet into wet-wormy squeal-squirmy dark cocoa earth, march through the middle of malicious puddles or splash-dash into the water with your flutter-kicking, dog-paddling, splash-you-back summer feet. Fisher's illustrations are just as lively as Fitch's text and you?ll want to read this magical book over and over again." —Canada Children's Book News (Toronto, ON)
