Trapped

tagged: girls & women, emotions & feelings
Description

Nothing seems to be going right for Jane's soccer team this year. Then, to make things worse, some of the girls' stuff starts going missing. Everyone points the finger at the new girl, but Jane is determined to find the real culprit . . . and get her team back on track.

Trapped is a story that shows how tiny rumours can have huge consequences, and how these consequences can be overcome with understanding and forgiveness.

Editorial Reviews

"The book's strengths are many, including fast-paced action, a likeable first person narrator, and realistic conflict. It is refreshing to see well-written Hi-lo novels that offer options for fast-paced reads that reach beyond "at-risk youth" themes and may appeal to a different demographic of reluctant readers."
Recommended.

"Set in Calgary, this slim book will have universal appeal ... A hardcover edition would be welcome in any juvenile collection"
