Anna Quon

Based in Halifax, Anna Quon is a poet, novelist and maker of short animated films. She describes herself as “middle-aged, mixed-race and mad.” Her novels include Migration Songs, Low, and Where the Silver River Ends (all published by Invisible Publishing).

Anna Quon is a Mad, mixed-race poet and novelist. She facilitates writing workshops, particularly for the mental health community. Her first novel, Migration Songs, was shortlisted for the Dartmouth Book Award, and her second, Low, is set in Nova Scotia's largest psychiatric hospital. Anna lives in Halifax.
